REFCLOSE command

The REFCLOSE command is used to save or discard changes made by reference block in-place editor.

Command Access:

Menu : Tools > Xref and Block In-place Editing > Close Reference
Menu : Tools > Xref and Block In-Place Editing > Save Reference
Command : REFCLOSE

Function Description:

Users could use the UNDO command to return back to edit the changes that saved or discarded by the REFCLOSE command. If users changed the external reference and saved it by accident, they could use UNDO command to quit those changes and use REFCLOSE command to save it. The REFCLOSE command could also restore it to be original state.

Relative Glossary:

Save:
Save all changes in working sets to external reference or block definition of current drawings. If removed objects from working sets and saved changes, the objects will be removed from external reference and added to current drawing.
Click the “Save Reference Edits” button on the “Reference Edit” tool bars to save reference editing.
Discard reference changes:
This option is used to quit work sets, original drawings or block definitions and restore them to original state. Any changes of objects in current drawing rather than in external reference of block will not be quitted. If removed objects out of work set, those objects could not be restored. The “Discard reference changes” option in “Reference Edit” tool bars could automatically discard reference changes without the REFCLOSE command.
