Function Description:

This command is used to create a series of contiguous lines and each line segment can be edited separately.

Command Access:

Icon:
Menu: Draw > Line
Ribbon: Home > Draw > Line
Toolbar: Draw > Line
Command: LINE
Alias: L

Command Prompts:

Specify first point:
Specify next point or [Angle/Length/Undo]:

Continue

After drawing a line, pressing Enter, it continues to draw a new line from the endpoint of the latest line.

After drawing arcs, pressing Enter, it draws lines from the arc endpoint and specifies it as the starting point of the new line. This line is tangent to the arc.

Close

Takes the starting point of the first line as the endpoint of the last line to form a closed loop segment. After drawing two or more lines, users can also use the Close option to form a closed loop segment.
