To Offset Objects

To Offset Objects by Specifying an Offset Distance
- Click Modify > Offset on the main menu.
- Specify the offset distance. You can either enter a value or use the pointing device to determine a distance with two points.
- Select an object to offset.
- Specify a point on side to offset.
To Offset Objects by Specifying a Pass-Through Point
- Click Modify > Offset on the main menu.
- Enter T (Through) at the command prompt.
- Select the object to offset.
- Specify the through point.
