SCALETEXT command

The SCALETEXT command is used to zoom in or out the selected text object without changing its position.

Command Access:

Menu : Text > Scale
Command : SCALETEXT

Enter a base point option for scaling [Existing/Left/Center/Middle/Right/TL/TC/TR/ML/MC/BL/BC/BR]: Specify new model height or [Paper height/Match object/Scale factor]:

Function Description:

Each selected text object has its base point. The base point is a relative fixed position when resizing or scaling. Specifying base point for selected text will not change its insertion point.
The TEXT command has described base point options of above. The base point options of single line text is similar with multiple text except for options of "Align", "Fit" and "Left", but those three options are equivalent to "BL" option. Note: users could only specify new model height of non-annotative text objects.

Scale the paper height according to annotation properties.
Note: users could only specify paper height of annotative objects.
Match object:
Scale the initially selected text object to match with the later selected text.
Note: this option only has effect on the same kinds of objects (annotative text objects or non-annotative text objects)
Scale factor:
Scale selected object by reference length and specified new length.

Reference:
Scale selected object by reference length and specified new length.
The selected object will be zoomed by new length and inputted reference length. If the new inputted length value is smaller than reference length, the selected text object will be reduced in size.
