PURGE Command

Function Description:

This command is used to remove unused items from drawings, such as block definitions, dimension styles, groups, layers, linetypes and text styles. Zero-length geometry and empty text objects can also be removed. The Purge dialog box is displayed.
If you enter -PURGE at the Command prompt, options are displayed.
Note: The PURGE command can not remove unnamed objects from blocks or locked layers (zero-length geometry and empty text objects).
