To Link to a Table in an External Spreadsheet
- Select the cell in the table you want to link.
- Enter the DATALINK command at the command prompt.
- The Data Link Manager dialog box is displayed. in which you can select Create new Excel Datalink option in the tree view.
- You can enter a new name in the Enter Data Link Name dialog box. Click OK.
- Click the [...] button to browse for the XLS or CSV file to link.
- In the New Excel Data Link dialog box, select a link option. Click OK.
- Select the new data link in the data link tree view. Click OK.
