Overview of Design Center

You can organize access to drawings, blocks, text styles and other drawing contents using the Design Center.

With Design Center, you can:

Browse for drawing contents such as drawings or symbol libraries on your computer, on a networked drive
View definition tables for named objects such as blocks in any drawing file and then insert, attach or copy and paste the definitions into the current drawing
Create shortcuts to drawings and folders that you access frequently
Add content such as xrefs, blocks to a drawing
Drag drawings, blocks to a tool palette for convenient access
