Function Description:

The LUNITS system variable is used to set the linear units format for creating objects.

Type : Integer
Saved in : Drawing
Initial value : 2
Range : 1,2,3,4,5

System Variable Value:

1 : scientific
2 : decimal
3 : engineering
4 : architectural
5 : fractional

The LUNITS system variable does not affect the unit formats of dimension text. The unit formats is controlled by DIMLUNIT system variable and saved together with dimension styles.
