Change the Linetype of an Object

An object's LINETYPE can be changed in three different ways:

• If an object's linetype is set to BYLAYER, move it to another layer with a different linetype, the object will acquire the linetype of new layer.
• Choose another linetype for layer, all objects with a BYLAYER linetype on this layer will be automatically updated.
• Choose a specific linetype for the single object overriding the layer's linetype. You can do that for each single object on the layer.
