Save and Restore Views
GstarCAD 2027 · Command Reference
If you have saved specific views by name, you can restore them for layout and plotting or when you need to refer to specific details.
Save a view
The following settings are saved when you name and save a view :
- View scale, view position and view direction
- User coordinate system
- The location of the view (the Model tab or a specific Layout tab)
Restoring a view
A named view can be used for the following operations:
- Restore the view that use frequently
- To specify the plotted area
- To control which model space view is displayed when the drawing is opened.
