Control How Objects Are Plotted

If you set the plot scale, use plot styles and plot style tables and set an object's layer properties, you can determine how objects are plotted.
The following object plotted properties can be controlled by a plot style: Color, Lineweight, Dither, Grayscale, Pen number, Virtual pen, Screening, Linetype, Line end style, Line join style and Fill style.
Assign Plot Style Tables to Layouts
You can assign different plot style tables to each layout in your drawing. Both model space and paper space objects will be affected by the plot style table.
Manage Plot Style Tables
To add, delete, rename, copy and edit plot style tables, use the Plot Style Manager. All of the available plot style tables are listed in the Plot Style Manager.
Change Plot Style Settings
You can use the Plot Style Table Editor to modify plot styles. When you select an CTB or STB in Plot dialog box, do double-click the Edit button to display Plot Style Table Editor.
Virtual Pen
Virtual pens can simulate the performance of a pen plotter. You can control the virtual pens with the device's software or by configuring them from the plotter's control panel.
Screening
The amount of ink placed on the paper while plotting is defined by the selected color intensity setting. The valid range is 0 (reduces the color to white), 100 (full intensity).
Linetype
A list with a sample and a description of each linetype will be shown, if you select the Linetype field in the Plot Style Table Editor.
Lineweight
Use Object Lineweight is the default setting for plot style lineweight, but you can modify the lineweight if you don't set lineweight for objects and layers.
End
You can assign a line end style in a plot style to override the object's default line end style at plot time with the follow options: Butt, Square, Round and Diamond.
Join
You can assign a line join style in a plot style to override the object's default line join style at plot time with thw follow options: Miter, Bevel, Round and Diamond.
Fill
Use Object Fill Style is the default setting for Fill Style and you can assign a fill style in a plot style to override the object's fill style at plot time with the follow options:
Solid, Checkerboard, Crosshatch, Diamond, Horizontal Bars, Slant Left, Slant Right, Square Dots and Vertical Bars.
