To Work with Named Page Setups for Plotting

To Create a New Named Page Setup

  1. Click File > Page Setup Manager on the main menu.
  2. The Page Setup Manager dialog box is displayed, click New.
  3. The New Page Setup dialog box is displayed, enter a name for the new page setup.
  4. Under Start With, select a page setup in the list. The settings specified in the selected page setup will be displayed in the Page Setup dialog box after you click OK.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The Page Setup dialog box is displayed, in which you can change any required settings. Click OK. The new page setup is displayed in the Page Setups list in the Page Setup Manager dialog box.
  7. To apply the new page setup to the current layout, in the Page Setup Manager dialog box, click Set Current.
  8. Click Close.

To Modify the Settings of a Layout's Page Setup

  1. Click the layout tab for which you want to modify the page setup settings.
  2. Right click and then select Page Setup Manager in the shortcut menu.
  3. The Page Setup Manager dialog box is displayed, select the page setup that you want to modify.
  4. Click Modify.
  5. The Page Setup dialog box is displayed, modify the required settings. Click OK.
  6. Click Close.

To Rename or Delete a Layout's Page Setup

  1. Click File > Page Setup Manager on the main menu.
  2. The Page Setup Manager dialog box is displayed, select and right-click the page setup that you want to rename or delete.
  3. Click Rename or Delete from the shortcut menu.

To Apply a Layout's Named Page Setup to Another Layout

  1. Click the layout tab to which you want to apply another layout's page setup settings.
  2. Right click and then select Page Setup Manager in the shortcut menu.
  3. The Page Setup Manager dialog box is displayed, select a named page setup that you want to apply to the layout selected in the drawing area.
  4. Click Set Current.
  5. Click Close.

To Override Settings

  1. Click File > Plot on the main menu.
  2. The Plot dialog box is displayed, in which you can change the required settings.
  3. Under Page Setup, click Add.
  4. The Add Page Setup dialog box is displayed, enter a name for the new named page setup.
