To Work with Columns in Multiline Text

GstarCAD 2027 · Command Reference

To Create Columns

  1. Double-click a multiline text object.
  2. The Text Formatting in-place editor is displayed, click Columns.
  3. In the drop-down list, you can select either Auto Height > Dynamic Columns/Manual Height or Static Columns > 2/3/4/5/6/More.
  4. Move the cursor to the text frame boundaries (right, bottom, and corner) to adjust the column height and width.

To Adjust Columns Using Grips

  1. Select the multiline text object to display the grips.
  2. Drag a grip to make the necessary adjustments.

To Insert a Column Break

  1. Double-click a multiline text object.
  2. Move the cursor to location in the text where you want to add the column break.
  3. In the Text Formatting in-place editor, click Columns > Insert Column Break.
