To Work With Rectangular Arrays

GstarCAD 2027 · Command Reference

Show how to create and edit rectangular arrays.

To Create a Rectangular Array

1. Do one of the followings:

• Select Modify > Array > Rectangular Array on the main menu.
• Click the Rectangular Array tool on the Array toolbar.
• Type ARRAYRECT and press Enter.

2. Select the objects to array and press Enter. A default rectangular array is displayed.
3. On the array preview, drag the grips to adjust the spacing and number of rows and columns. You can also modify values on the Array Creation context ribbon.

To Add Levels to an Array

1. Select one of the items in the array.
2. In Array context ribbon > Levels > Levels.
3. Enter the number of levels.

To Modify the Number of Items in a Rectangular Array

1. Select an array.
2. Drag a grip in the top-right, top-left, or bottom-right corner to increase or decrease the number of rows or columns.

To Change the Angle of an Array

1. Select an array.
2. Hover over the upper-left triangular grip.
3. Click the Axis Angle option from the menu.
4. At the prompt, Specify an axis angle.
