To Work With Polar Arrays

To Create a Polar Array

1. Do one of the followings:

• Select Modify > Array > Polar Array on the main menu.
• Click the Polar Array tool on the Array toolbar.
• Type ARRAYPOLAR and press Enter.

2. Select the objects to array.
3. Specify center point of array. A preview array is displayed.
4. Enter I (Items) and enter the number of objects to array.
5. Enter A (Angle between) and enter the angle to fill. You can also drag the arrow grips to adjust the angle between items in the array.

Modify the Angle Between the Items in a Polar Array

1. Select the array.
2. Click the Angle Between grip. The Angle Between grip is displayed on the second item in the first row of the polar array. This grip is displayed only when there are three or more items in the array.
3. Move the cursor to increase or decrease the angle between the items and then click.
