To Save and Insert a 2D or 3D Section as a Block

To Save and Insert a 2D or 3D Section as a Block

1. Select the section object.
2. Click 3D tab > Section panel > Create Block in the ribbon.
3. The Generate Section/Elevation dialog box is displayed, in which you can click 2D Section/Elevation or 3D Section.
4. In the expanded dialog box, select Include All Objects.
5. Under Destination, click Insert as New Block.
6. Click Create.
7. Specify the insertion point in the drawing area.
