To Orbit a 3D Object

To Orbit the View of a 3D Object

  1. Select objects you want to view with the 3DORBIT command or select no objects if you want to view the entire drawing.
  2. Click View > Orbit > Constrained Orbit in the main menu.

To Orbit a 3D View Without Constraining the Direction

  1. Select objects you want to view with the 3DFORBIT command or select no objects if you want to view the entire drawing.
  2. Click View > Orbit > Free Orbit in the main menu. A navigation ring is displayed in the drawing area.

  1. Move the cursor over different parts of the navigation ring to display the 3D Free Orbit icon that you want to use. Then drag to orbit the view.
