To Hatch or Fill an Object or an Area

To Hatch or Fill an Object or an Area

1. Click Draw > Gradient on the main menu.
2. The Hatch and Gradient dialog box is displayed, on the Hatch tab, Type and pattern panel, Type list, select the type of hatch that you want to use.
3. On the Pattern list, click a hatch pattern or fill.
4. On the Boundaries panel, specify how the pattern boundary is selected.
5. Click an area or object to be hatched.
6. Press Enter to apply the hatch and exit the command.
