To Detach an Underlay

To Detach an Underlay

1. Click Insert > External References on the main menu.
2. The External Reference palette is displayed, in the File References panel, select the underlay you want to detach.
3. Right-click on the underlay and choose Detach. The underlay is no longer linked to the drawing file. All instances of the underlay are removed from the drawing.
