To Attach a Point Cloud to a Drawing

To Attach a Point Cloud to a Drawing

  1. Click Insert > Point Cloud Reference on the main menu.
  2. The Select Point Cloud File dialog box is displayed, in which you can find and select a Point Cloud Scan file (*.rcs) or Point Cloud Project file (*.rcp) to attach and click Open.
  3. The Attach Point Cloud dialog box is displayed, in which you can specify the path type, insertion point, scale, and rotation.
  4. To see more information about the point cloud, such as width, length, height, intensity, and colors, click Show Details.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Specify the insertion point, the scale factor and the rotation angle if prompted.
