To Access Content with Design Center

To Display and Hide the Design Center Tree View

  1. Click Tools > Palettes > Design Center on the main menu.
  2. Click TreeView Switch button on the Design Center toolbar.

To Change the Folder of the Home Button

  1. Click Tools > Palettes > Design Center on the main menu.
  2. In the Design Center tree view, navigate to the folder that you want to set as home.
  3. Right-click on the folder. Click Set as Home.
  4. When you click the Home button, Design Center opens this folder.

To Change the Source of the Displayed Content

  1. Click Tools > Palettes > Design Center on the main menu.
  2. On the Design Center palette, click one of the following tabs:

Folder Tab

The following hierarchy icons are displayed in the Folder tab: Network and Computer, computer drives, folders, drawings and related support files, Xrefs, layouts and named objects, including blocks, layers, linetypes, text styles and dimension styles within a drawing.

Open Drawings Tab

On this tab a list of currently opened drawings is displayed. If you click a drawing file and then click one of the definition tables, you can load the content into the content area.

History Tab

On this tab a list of previously opened files is displayed. If you double-click a drawing file from the list, you can load the content into the content area.
