Function Description:
The DIMALTZ system variable is used to control zero suppression for alternate units in a dimension.

System Variable Value:
0: suppress zero feet and zero inch
1: include zero feet and zero inch
2: include zero feet and suppress zero inch
3: include zero inch and suppress zero feet
4:suppress leading zero for decimal dimension
8: suppress trailing zero for decimal dimension
12: suppress leading and trailing zeros
The DIMALTZ system variable of 0,1,2, and 3 only have effect on dimensions for inches and feet.
