About Modifying Text

GstarCAD 2027 · Command Reference

All text objects can be moved , rotated, deleted and copied just like any other objects. You can also edit the contents of the created text objects.

Modify single line text

There are two ways for the single line text modification:

• When only modifying text contents, you can double click or use the DDEDIT command.
• If you want to modify text content and format, you can use the PROPERTIES palette (Ctrl+1).

Modify multiline text

You can double click the texts, then open Mtext Editor, in this dialog box you can modify and edit the multiline text. You can resize or relocate mtext by dragging the grip.

Find and Replace

Using the FIND command , you can find and replace the words of single line text and mtext.

Modify leader text

You can adjust the leader size with the stretch and scale operation.
