Interface reconstruction is based on WPF technology framework and a number of self-developed technology fusion, technology and design dimensions as the starting point, we are on the underlying architecture of the "complete rewrite" after the formation of the operating interface.
For the technical reorganization, we have enabled a new WPF technical architecture, complemented the secondary development data interface, and eliminated the data transmission bottleneck. In addition, the interface interface is also compatible with the interface library of AutoCAD, which can realize "zero" cost transplantation of industry software developed based on .NET.
Thanks to the technology upgrade, we have reconstructed the color system and proportion relationship, redrawn 1500+ icons one by one, and adjusted the theme color scheme and part of the display effect, so that the whole interface has a new look.

We abandon the traditional MFC technology and fully adopt WPF technology to reshape the underlying architecture of the interface.
Using WPF's powerful graphic rendering capabilities, the interface effect of a new look, perfectly adapted to the needs of different resolution displays, which can bring a clearer, more detailed software interface view. At the same time, the smoothness and responsiveness of the software has also been significantly improved, and the overall operating experience is more smooth and natural.
To address the secondary development pain points, we have synchronized to create a new secondary development interface, adding more than 7000 secondary development interfaces.
.NET technology, helping developers achieve zero-cost transplantation, seamless docking of the new interface architecture, easy to achieve functional expansion and personalized customization, fully stimulate the vitality and creativity of secondary development, and inject powerful momentum into the prosperity of the product ecosystem.
The interface configuration file parsing library has been reconstructed, and the reading and writing efficiency has been greatly improved. The new parsing library not only has excellent performance, but also opens the related secondary development interface, allowing developers to read and modify configuration files more conveniently, responding quickly to changes in business requirements, and providing strong support for flexible configuration and efficient operation and maintenance of the product.
We have built industry-leading arithmetic scheduling technology, and the new framework is more intelligent and reasonable for system resource scheduling. Through the refined management and optimization of computing power resources, the product operation can remain smooth and stable when users engage in common multi-tasking and complex scene switching, significantly reducing lag and frame dropping. This ensures that users have a smooth experience in complex scenarios, allowing the software to achieve a perfect balance between performance and experience.
Based on the ability brought by the technical system reconstruction, in order to make the design work more efficient, we have constructed a new design system and design specifications, and created a hierarchical, beautiful and practical visual space, presenting the "GstarCAD Aesthetics" with a sense of life and technological power for you.
Reconstruct the graphic proportion in an intuitive way, create the color relationship with vitality, and redraw 1500+ icons one by one with the principle of natural and comfortable. All the icons are in vector format, which ensures the clarity and finesse at any scaling, and the overall visual feeling of the icons is more realistic and natural.
In order to alleviate the visual pressure brought by a large amount of information to users, we choose to reconstruct the theme color scheme and collocation, providing two theme styles: dark and light. More themes will be opened in the future, allowing more freedom of personality and more diverse expressions.
Operation path:
a. Go to "Appearance > Theme", select "Dark" or "Light".
b. Enter "OPTIONS" on the command line, go to "Options>Display", select "Appearance Theme".
c. Enter "COLORTHEME" on the command line, select "0" or "1", where "0" is the default dark theme and "1" is the light theme.
(Special note: the COLORTHEME system variable has been adjusted, deleting the settings of 2, 3, 4 and 5 values in the old version, and only retaining the values 0 and 1.
In order to make the interface display softer and the controls more natural, we have introduced visual effects such as rounded corners and projection for some of the menus to make the interface more realistic and hierarchical.
In addition we also bring over 10 other detail updates and optimizations.
New: Support clicking the first level menu to go directly to the function and open the Options dialog box. For example, you can click "Plot" and "Send" directly.
Optimization: Adjust the "Main Menu" button to optimize the display effect.
Optimization: Adjust the display logic and content of recent documents.
Optimization: Further refine the Keytip display.
1) New: Support pinning the panel to fix the display of the expanded sub-panel menu.
2) Optimization: Optimize the display effect and content of "Appearance" menu, and support switching between light and dark theme modes.
3) Optimization: Adjust the logic of menu gray ban, disable the interface function when the dialog box is opened in the foreground, and adjust the color of text and icon to show the disable effect.
4) Optimization: Adjust the plot preview panel, adjust the panel to toolbar style.
5) Optimization: Further refine the Keytip display.
6) New: Add Visibility Control for the Ribbon.
In both the 2D Drafting and 3D Modeling interfaces, users can now right-click anywhere on the Ribbon area to activate the newly added "Visibility Control" menu. This feature allows customization of tab and panel visibility, improving interface efficiency.
a. Show Tabs
By default, the visibility and check state are as shown in the figure below. Note that the "3D Tools" and "Render" options are unchecked by default.
The Premium version includes an additional "Parametric" option after "Express".
For Standard Edition Users: When using the 3D Tools or Render tabs, certain core functions are restricted. If a restricted function is triggered, a command-line notification will appear (e.g., executing a render command will prompt: "That command not allowed in current version.").

b. Show Panels
Display the panel contents of the current tab. Taking the "Home" tab as an example, refer to the figure below.
7) New: Add a text editor to the Ribbon.
In both 2D Drafting and 3D Modeling interfaces, when a user enters and executes the "MTEXT" command in the command line, the Ribbon will display the "Text Editor" tab.
In GstarCAD, the "Text Formatting" toolbar has always been available but previously appeared as a floating panel. This update integrates it into the Ribbon interface, providing additional access points for improved usability.
