The DIMTAD system variable is used to control the vertical position of text relative to dimension line.

System Variable Value:
0:center the dimension text between the extension line
1: center the dimension text between the extension line
2: Places the dimension text on the side of the dimension line farthest away from the defining points
3: place the dimension text according to JIS
4: place the dimension text below the dimension line
