Function Description:
The Dimension Style Manager dialog box is used to create a new dimension style, set current style, modify dimension style, override current style and compare dimension style.
Dialog Box Options:
Display the name of current dimension style. The default style is Standard. The current style will apply on new created dimension.
List all dimension styles in drawing. The current style will be highlighted. Right-clicking in the list, it could display shortcut menu and options, set current, rename or delete dimension styles. The current dimension style or the used dimension styles in current drawing could not be deleted. There is a icon in front of Annotative, it means this kind of style is annotative. It will display all external reference dimension styles by rules of external reference except checking the " Don't list styles in Xrefs" option. Users could not modify or rename an external reference, or set the external reference dimension style to current, but they could create a new dimension style based on it. In the "List", the displayed dimension style is controlled by selected option.
The "List" option controls the dimension style. Users could select "All styles" to view all dimension styles in drawing. They could select "Styles in use" to view dimension styles currently used.
Checking this option, dimension styles in external reference will not display in the "List".
It could display the preview of selected dimension style in the "Style" list.
It displays information of selected dimension style in the "Style" list.
Set the selected dimension style in the "Style" list to be current. The current dimension sytle will be applied on new created dimensions.
Display the "Create New Dimension Style" dialog box. Users could define new dimension styles by it.
Display the "Modify Dimension Style" dialog box. Users could modify dimension styles by it. Options in "Modify Dimension" dialog box are the same as they are in "Create New Dimension Style" dialog box.
Display the "Override Current Style" dialog box. Users could set temporary dimension styles. Options in "Modify Dimension" dialog box are the same as they are in "Create New Dimension Style" dialog box. The Override dimension style will be saved as unsaved style in the "Style" list.
Display the "Compare Dimension Styles" dialog box. Users could compare selected two dimension styles or list all properties of selected dimension style.
