Function Description:
System variables and reported preferred values are monitored for changes.
Dialog Box Options:
The list of dialog options is as follows:
Displays a command line and status bar notification when monitored system variables do not match their preferred value. (SYSMON system variable \= 1)
Displays a balloon alert notification when monitored system variables do not match their preferred value. (SYSMON system variable \= 2)
Clicks the triangle icon next to "Status" sorts the selected variables according to the status of the system variables.
Clicks the triangle icon next to "System Variable" sorts the selected variables alphabetically by system variable name.
Double-clicks a value to enter the edit mode of the value. Note: If you add a system variable to the list after changing its value, the preferred value will show the current value (not the initial value).
Displays the current value of a system variable. Double-clicks to modify the current value is not supported.
Clicks the help icon behind a system variable to enter the help page corresponding to the system variable. (Jumps to online help or offline help depending on your settings in the Options dialog box)
Enabled whenever a monitored system variable does not match the preferred value. When selected, it will queue up system variables to be reset and reset them when you click OK.
Opens the Edit System Variable List dialog box where you can add or remove system variables to be monitored.
Closes the System Variable Monitor dialog box and applies any system variable changes marked "Reset All".
Closes the System Variable Monitor dialog box without applying any changes.
Clicks to enter the help page of the corresponding "System Variable Monitor" dialog box.
