STRETCH Command

Function Description:

This command is used to stretch selected objects by crossing-window or crossing-polygon.
The STRETCH command can stretch objects partially surrounded in crossing-window. Users can move objects that surrounded in crossing-window, they can also separately select them. Some objects can not be stretched, such as circles, ellipses, and blocks.
The STRETCH command only moves vertices and endpoints in crossing-window and does not change vertices and endpoints outside of crossing-window, as well it can not change information of 3D solids, lineweight of polyline, tangent, or curve fitting.

Command Prompts:

Select object:
Specify base point or [Displacement] \<Displacement>:

Base point

Specifies the base point to stretch.

Displacement

If entering the second point, the objects are stretched to a vector displacement from the base point to the second point. Pressing Enter under the Specify second point or \<use first point as displacement>: prompt, the objects are stretched to a vector displacement as the X, Y, Z coordinates of the base point.
