LAYMCH Command

Function Description:

This command is used to change the layer of a selected object and make it to match the target one.
If you create objects on the wrong layer, you can use the LAYMCH command to change the wrong layer to the target layer. If you enter -LAYMCH at the Command prompt, options are displayed.

Command Access:

Menu: Format > Layer Tools > Layer Match
Ribbon: Home > Layer > LAYMCH
Toolbar: Layers Ⅱ > Layer Match
Command: LAYMCH

Command Prompts:

Select the object to change:
Select object on target layer or [Name]:

Select the object to change

Selects an object to change its layer.

Select object on target layer

Selects an object on the target layer.

Name

Displays the Change to Layer dialog box.
