Function Description:
You can either embed file data or link file data. Linked data
is updated when you open the drawing.
When you copy objects to the Clipboard, information is stored
in all available formats. When you paste the Clipboard contents into a drawing,
you can choose from the available formats.
When GstarCAD 2025 adds paste links, select the "DWG Entities" option, as shown in the following figure:
Dialog Box Options:
Displays the file name which contains the copied information. It also displays the specific part of the copied document.
Pastes the contents in the Clipboard into the current drawing as a nested object.
Pastes the contents in the Clipboard into the current drawing.
Displays the valid formats, users can paste the contents on
the Clipboard into the current drawing in those formats.
If you select the DWG Entities option, the program converts the DWG Entities from
the Clipboard to DWG objects. If the program does not convert the file format,
the file is displayed as an OLE object.
Inserts the icon of application program rather than the data. Users can view or edit the data by double-clicking the icon.
