Function Description:

This command is used to rotate objects around a 3D axis.

Command Prompts:

Select object:
Specify first point on axis or define axis by
[Object/Last/View/Xaxis/Yaxis/Zaxis/2points]:

Object

Aligns the selected object to the rotation axis.

• Line:
  Aligns the selected object to the rotation axis.
• Angle:
  Rotates the object around the selected line by a specified angle.

• Reference:
  Specifies reference angle and new angle. The difference value between the start angle and endpoint angle is the rotation angle.

  - Circle:
  Aligns the rotation axis to the 3D axis of the circle (the rotation axis passes through the circle center and is perpendicular to the circle plane).

- Arc:
Aligns the rotation axis to the 3D axis of the arc (the rotation axis passes through the arc center and is perpendicular to the arc plane). - 2D-polyline segment:
Aligns the rotation axis to the polyline. The line in polyline can be seemed as a line segment and the arc in polyline can be seemed as an arc segment.

Last

Rotates the selected object by the previous axis.

View

Aligns the rotation axis to the observation direction of the current viewport that passes through the specified point.

Xaxis, Yaxis, Zaxis

Aligns the rotation axis to one of the axes (X, Y or Z) that pass through the selected point.

2points

Specifies the rotation axis by two points.
