RECTANG Command

Function Description:

This command is used to create a rectangular polyine.
Users can use this command to specify the rectangular parameters (length, width, and rotated angle) and control corner types (fillet, chamfer or right angle).

Command Access:

Icon:
Menu: Draw > Rectangle
Ribbon: Home > Draw > Rectangle
Toolbar: Draw > Rectangle
Command: RECTANG
Alias: REC

Command Prompts:

Specify first corner point or [Chamfer/Elevation/Fillet/Thickness/Width/Oblique]:

First corner point

Specifies a corner point of the rectangle.

Other corner point: Specifies another corner point to create a rectangle.

- Area: Creates a rectangle by the area and a length or a width. It can create chamfers or fillets on the rectangle by setting the Chamfer or Fillet option.
