Function Description:

This command is used to remove duplicate or overlapping lines, arcs and polylines, as well combine partially overlapping or contiguous objects.

Command Prompts:

Select object:

Current settings: Tolerance\=0.000001, Ignore\=None, Optimize polylines\=YES, Combine partial overlap\=YES, Combine end-to-end\=YES

Enter an option to change [Done(D)/Ignore(I)/tOlerance(O)/optimize Plines(P)/combine parTial overlap(T)/combine Endtoend(E)]:

Select object

Specifies the object to modify.

Done

Overkills the specified objects according to the current settings.

Ignore

Ignores one or more of the following properties during object comparison.

Ignore [None(N)/All(A)/Color(C)/LAyer(LA)/Ltype(L)/LWeight(LW)/plotSTyle(ST)]:

tOlerance

Specifies the numerical precision of object comparison. OVERKILL compares according to this value to determine the object duplication. The smaller the tolerance value, the smaller the error.

Specify tolerance for object comparison precision \<0.000001>:

optimize Plines

Optimize segments within plines [YES(Y)/NO(N)]:

YES: Enabled by default. When selected, individual line and arc segments within selected polylines are examined. Duplicate vertices and segments are removed.
NO: Forces OVERKILL to examine polyline segments individually. Polyline segments may be deleted as duplicates of non-polyline objects.

combine parTial overlap

Combine co-linear objects that partially overlap [YES(Y)/NO(N)] \<Y>:

YES: Overlapping objects area combined into single objects.
NO: Overlapping objects are not combined.

combine Endtoend

Combine co-linear objects when aligned end to end [YES(Y)/NO(N)]:

YES: Objects that have common endpoints are combined into single objects.
NO: Co-linear objects when aligned end to end are not combined.
