Set hyperlink for specified object or edit hyperlinks.
Command Access:
Ribbon: Insert > Data > Hyperlink Menu: Insert > Hyperlink Command: HYPERLINK
Dialog Box Description:
Text to
Description of selected hyperlink. If the file name or URL could not recognize the content of linked file, the description could be very helpful. In the "Edit Hyperlink" dialog box, there are three options: Existing File or Web Page, View of This Drawing and Email Address.
Existing File or Web Page
Create a hyperlink to existing file or web page.
Type the file or Web page
Specify the file or web page to link to hyperlink. This file could be saved in local, net driver, internet or intranet.
Recent Files
Display the recent linked file list, from which users could select one file to link.
Browsed Pages
Display the recent browsed Web page list, from which users could select one file to link.
Inserted Links
Display the recent inserted link list, from which users could select one file to link.
File
Open the "Browse the Web-Look in" dialog box, in which users could browse the file that need to link.
Web Page
Open the web page, which can navigate users to the hyperlink associated with a Web page.
Target
Open the "Select in the files" dialog box, in which users could select the named location in a drawing to link to.
Path
Display the path associated with linked file. If checking "Use relative path for hyperlink", it only lists the file name, otherwise it lists the file name and complete file path.
Use relative path for hyperlink
Set the relative path for hyperlink. Checking this option, the complete file path will not be saved together with hyperlink. The relative path is set to be the specified value of HYPERLINKBASE system variable, if this value has not been set, the relative path will be set to current path. Unchecking this option, the complete file path will be saved together with hyperlink.
Convert DWG hyperlinks to DWF
When publishing or ploting the specified drawing to DWF file, the DWG hyperlink will change to DWF hyperlink.
View of This Drawing
Specify the named views of hperlink target in current drawing.
Select a view of this
Display the tree of named view in current drawing, in which users could selected one to link to.
Email Address
Specify the email address to link to. When executing hyperlink, it will create an email by default mail system.
Email Address
Specify the email address.
Subject
Specify the subject of email.
Recently used email
List recently used email address, from which users could select one to link to.
Remove link
Remove the hyperlink from selected object.
