Edit OLE Objects in Drawings

You can double-click the OLE object to open the source application in a drawing.

OLE objects can be selected with any selection method and edited with most editing commands, the Properties palette or grips to make changes. If the aspect ratio is locked in the Properties palette (PROPERTIES), the shape of an object does not change when you are using grips to modify the size of an OLE object.

The content of the OLE object is hidden and only the frame displayed when you rotate an OLE object or when it is not in Plan view.

The general properties listed in the Properties palette for an OLE object apply to the frame. You can turn on or off the frame by OLEFRAME . Grips are displayed on the frame, so that you can not edit OLE by dragging the grips if frame is turned off.
