The PUBLISHCOLLATE system variable is used to control whether it could be interrupted by other print tasks when plot sheet set, multiple pages files, or plot spool files.

System Variable Value:
0 : a published sheet set is processed one sheet at a time. Creating a single PLT file for each drawing. If the sheet set is published, the sheets might be interleaved with other plot task.
1 : a published sheet set is processed as a single task. A multiple pages PLT file is created. If the sheet set is published, the sheets might be not interleaved with other plot task.
