GstarCAD 2026 has deeply optimized the common operations in terms of performance enhancement, and significantly improved the performance indexes of core operations, including multi-reference drawing opening, extending/trimming, clipping block and external reference operations.

At the same time, a number of new functions have been added, such as parametric constraints (dimensional constraints), interface reconstruction, drawing merge, coordinate point optimization, batch print optimization, batch purge optimization, DWG comparison, view display effect switching and PDF import function optimization.

GstarCAD 2026 has deeply optimized the performance of common operations, and the performance indexes of core operations have been greatly improved, specifically including: multi-reference drawing opening, extending/trimming, clipping blocks and external references, block editing and previewing, mirroring, and creating blocks, and other operations.

New Functions

1、Parametric (dimensional constraints)

Parametric (Dimensional Constraints) is a powerful tool for controlling the size and position relationships of graphics objects, ensuring that the size and shape of graphics remain consistent during editing.

Including: 1) 7 kinds of dimensional constraints, respectively: linear, horizontal, vertical, aligned, angular, radius, diameter; 2) 2 clock auxiliary functions: form, convert.

2、Interface reconstruction

Based on the WPF technology framework and a number of self-developed technology integration, technology and design dimensions as the entry point to the underlying architecture "completely rewrite" after the formation of a new visual interface.

At the same time, the secondary development data interface has been supplemented to eliminate data transmission bottlenecks. 3、AUTOMERGE

4、Coordinate Point optimization (DIMCORD)

The coordinate point function (DIMCORD) has been improved based on user suggestions, including support for scale and text height adjustment, the addition of Group and Auto Switch options, and the adjustment of loose lines to LEADER.

5、Batch Plot Optimization (BP)

Adds sequential preview feature.

6、Batch Purge Optimization (BATPURGE)

Batch Purge tool supports cleanup of Regapps, Zero geometry, Empty text objects and orphaned data.

7、DWG Compare (COMPARE)

Supports comparing a specified drawing file with the current drawing file.

In the process of comparison will use the revision clouds to indicate the difference between the current drawing and the comparison drawing; you can use the "DWG Compare" toolbar to set up the relevant characteristics of the comparison; support for the input of the difference object to the current drawing, but also can be exported to the difference as a snapshot of the graphic for subsequent viewing.

9、PDF import function optimization (PDFIMPORT)

Replaced the underlying library and the corresponding import interface, optimized the import efficiency and solved the legacy PDF import problems.

10、PLOT: Add support for TIFF Version 6 (CCITT G4 2D compression) driver in the plotter

Add support for a new custom print driver "TIFF Version 6 (CCITT G4 2D compression)", this driver only supports black and white backgrounds and can significantly reduce the file size of drawings while ensuring the accuracy of output elements such as lines, text, and annotations.
