Performance Improvement — GstarCAD 2026
Performance Improvement
Optimization of Drawings Storage Performance
By introducing an incremental save mechanism, the performance of SAVEAS and QSAVE in GstarCAD 2025 has been greatly improved, with the goal of achieving performance parity with major foreign competitors.
SAVEAS has seen an over 30% increase in speed, while QSAVE is more than 5 times faster. (QSAVE performance is related to the number of graphics involved in the add, delete, and modify operations, which refers to the data of a small number of entities being added, deleted, or modified.)
Optimization of Opening Drawings Performance
GstarCAD 2025 has optimized the reading and display of certain graphics such as hatches, 3D objects, TTF text, proxy objects, splines, and circles. Additionally, the initialization processes of the CUI interface, layer panel, and tool options panel have been optimized. As a result, the average performance for opening drawings has improved by over 30%, and for some drawings, the performance has improved more than threefold.
Optimization of TRIM and EXTEND Performance
The trimming and extending performance of complex drawings has been improved by an average of 64%, with some drawings seeing an improvement of over 10 times. The lag issue during the trimming and extending of complex drawings has been essentially resolved in GstarCAD 2025. This enhancement is due to the optimization of the logic and algorithms used during the trimming process, including the traversal of entities, the processing of graphic order, and the intersection calculation of graphics.
Optimization of HATCH Performance
The hatch display effect has been enhanced, and the issue of displaying excess lines with gradient and transparent fills has been addressed.
