The appearance of dimensions like arrowhead style, text location and lateral tolerances are controlled by a dimension style. Using dimension styles, you can specify the format of dimensions quickly and to ensure that dimensions are meet industry or project standards.
- Dimensions use the settings of the current dimension style.
- Change a setting in a dimension style, all dimensions in a drawing that use a certain style will be updated automatically.
- Dimension substyles can be created for specified types of dimensions with some different parameters from the current dimension style.
- A dimension style can be overridden temporarily.
