What's new in GstarCAD 2027 > Command Line Reconstruction

The command line has been completely upgraded, with comprehensive optimizations to its appearance, functional operations, and interaction logic.

You can now freely adjust the width and height of the command line window by dragging its edges.

Different heights will also cause the window to display in different styles.

When users execute commands in the command line, they can now select command branches via mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts.

A temporary prompt for individual commands can now be displayed above the command line.

The number of displayed prompt history lines can be modified using the CLIPROMPTLINES system variable, with a default value of 3.

You can access the search options functionality via the command line feature icon or by using the INPUTSEARCHOPTIONS command.

AutoComplete: Controls whether and how the program fills in the rest of the command or system variable name at the Command prompt.
Enable AutoComplete: Completes the command or system variable based on the letters you type.
Enable Mid-string Search: (Available only when AutoComplete is on) Suggests commands and system variables that start with or contain the letters you type.
Search System Variables: Includes system variables in the command line suggestion list.
Separate Commands and System Variables: (Available only when Search System Variables is on.) Displays the suggested list of system variables separately, below the command list. When system variables are displayed separately, you need to press Tab to display the list.
Suggestion List Delay Time: Controls the amount of time that passes before the command line suggestion list is displayed. Enter the time in milliseconds.

The command line now supports more customizable interface elements.
