Function Description:
Locates, inserts, names and defines the parameters and details of attached images.
Name
Identifies the image you have selected to attach.
Browse
Opens the Select Image File dialog box.
Preview
Displays the image that you have selected to attach.
Path type
Users can select Full path, Relative path, or No path. The default path type is Full path.
Insertion point
Specifies the insertion point for the selected image file. The default setting is Specify On-screen, the default insertion point is (0, 0, 0).
- Specify On-Screen: Specifies the insertion point by command inputting or the pointing device. Without checking this option, users should enter the X,Y and Z coordinates of the insertion point.
- X Value:Sets the X coordinate value of the insertion point.
- Y Value: Sets the Y coordinate value of the insertion point.
- Z Value: Sets the Z coordinate value of the insertion point.
Scale
Specifies the scale factor of the selected image. If the INSUNITS is set to Unspecified (No units) or there is no information about resolution, the scale factor becomes the image width. If the INSUNITS is set to a value such as Millimeters, Centimeters, Inches, or Feet, and the image contains resolution information, the scale factor is applied after the true width of the image is determined.
- Specify On-screen: Inputs the scale at the Command prompt or the pointing device. Without checking this option, users should enter a scale value. The default scale factor is 1.
Rotation
Specifies the rotation angle of the selected image.
- Specify On-screen: After checking this option, users can specify the rotation angle at the Command prompt or by pointing device.
- Angle: If the Specify On-screen option is clear, users can enter a rotation angle value in the dialog box. The default rotation angle is 0.
Read position file
Specifies the extract information of the attached image file by using the tfw file. With checking the Read position file option, the Find button is available. The Open dialog box is displayed, in which you can select a tfw file to open.
Show Details/Hide Details
Displays or hides details about the selected image file.
- Resolution: Displays the number of horizontal and vertical pixels per the current unit measurement.
- Unit: Displays the current unit of measurement.
- Image size in pixels: Displays the width and height of the raster image measured in pixels.
- Image size in units: Displays the width and height of the raster image measured in units.
- Location: Displays the path where the image file is located.
- Saved path: Displays the path of the attached image file which is saved together with the drawing. The path is determined by the settings of Path type option.
