Function Description:
This command is used to create infinitely long straight lines.
Users can create the structure and reference lines by infinitely long straight
lines, and this kind of lines can be trimmed.
Command Access:
Icon:
Menu: Draw > Construction Line
Ribbon: Home > Draw > XLINE
Toolbar: Draw > XLINE
Command: XLINE
Alias: XL
Command Prompts:
Specify a point or [Hor/Ver/Ang/Bisect/Offset]:
Point
Creates an xline by two specified points. These two points determine the position of the xline.
Hor
Creates a horizontal xline through a specified point. This xline is parallel to the X axis.
Ver
Creates a vertical xline through a specified point. This xline is parallel to the Y axis.
Ang
Creates an xline by a specified angle.
- Angle of xline: Specifies the angle of the xline.
- Reference: Specifies the angle between xline and a selected reference line. This angle is calculated by anticlockwise direction.
Bisect
Creates an xline through the specified vertex and bisects two lines' intersection angle. This xline is determined by three points.
Offset
Creates an xline parallel to another object.
- Offset distance: Specifies the offset distance from the selected object.
- Through: Creates an xline that through a specified point and offset from a selected line.
