To Preview a Plot
Before you send a drawing to the printer or plotter, it saves time and material to generate a preview of the plotted drawing.
To preview the drawing you can use the Plot dialog box. The preview shows exactly how the drawing will look when plotted, including lineweights, fill patterns and other plot style options.
- Click File > Plot on the main menu.
- The Plot dialog box is displayed, click Preview.
- A Plot Preview window is displayed, and the cursor changes to the real-time zoom cursor.
- Right-click to display a shortcut menu with the following options: Exit, Plot, Pan, Zoom, Zoom Window, or Zoom Original.
- Press ESC to exit the plot preview window and return to the Plot dialog box.
- Once the settings are correct, click OK to plot the drawing.
