To Attach and Detach Raster Images

To Attach Raster Images
- Click Insert > Raster Image Reference on the main menu.
- The Select Reference File dialog box is displayed, select a file name from the list or enter the name of the image file in the File Name box. Click Open.
- The Attach Image dialog box is displayed, you can select Specify On-Screen to use the pointing device to insert the image at the location, scale, or angle you want. You can also clear Specify On-Screen and enter values under the Insertion Point, Scale, or Rotation.
- Click OK to complete the command.
To Detach Raster Images
- Click Tools > Palettes > External References on the main menu.
- In the External Reference palette, select the image that you want to detach.
- Right-click the selected image and choose Detach.
- The image is no longer linked to the drawing file, and all instances of the image are removed from the drawing.
