The –PURGE command is used to remove unused named objects under command prompts, such as block definition and layer.
Command Access:
Command: -PURGE
Function Description:
Users could remove unused named objects from the drawing under command prompt. In one time, only one level of reference could be removed, repeating this operation, until there is no referenced named objects. Note：the PURGE command could not remove named objects from block or locked layers (or zero-length geometry or empty text objects or Mtext).

Remove unused applications from Block, Dimstyles, Group, Layers, Ltypes, Materials, Multileaderstyles, Plotstyles, Shapes, textSTyles, Mlinest, Tablestyles, Viualstyles, Regapps Zero-length geometry, Empty text objects or all objects.
