INTERSECT Command

Function Description:
This command is used to create 3D solids, surfaces or 2D regions from
overlapping solids, surfaces or regions.
Users can use this command to create 3D solids from coplanar
regions of two or more existing 3D solids, surfaces or regions. If you select a
mesh, you can convert it to a solid or surface and then execute this command.
Users can create complex 3D solids by extruding their 2D profiles.
The selection set can include any regions, solids, and surfaces in different planes. The INTERSECT
command can divide the selection set into subsets and tests for intersections
within each subset. The first subset contains all the solids and surfaces in the
selection set. The second subset contains the first selected region and all
regions which are coplanar with it. The third subset contains the next region that
is not coplanar with the first selected region and all other regions that coplanar with it, dividing likes this until the last one.
