Function Description:
This command is used to fill an enclosed region or selected objects with a
hatch pattern, solid fill, or gradient fill. The Hatch and Gradient dialog box
is displayed. If you enter -HATCH at the Command prompt, options are displayed.
Note: To avoid creating a large number of hatch lines, the
maximum number of hatch lines is limited in a single hatch operation. This limit
can avoid some problems about memory and performance. User can use the HPMAXLINES
system variable to change the maximum number.

Users can use the following ways to specify the boundaries of a hatch:
- Select a point in an enclosed area.
- Select objects that enclose an area.
- Use -HATCH options to specify boundary points.
