Function Description:

This command is used to create an arc length dimension.

Command Prompts:

Select arc or polyline arc segment:
Specify arc length dimension location, or [Mtext/Text/Angle/Partial/Leader]:

Arc or polyline arc segment

Specifies an arc or a polyline arc segment to be dimensioned.

Arc length dimension location

Specifies the placement of the dimension line and determines the direction of the extension lines. Arc length dimensions measure the distance along an arc or polyline arc segment. The extension lines of an arc length dimension can be orthogonal or radial. An arc symbol is displayed either above or preceding the dimension text.

Mtext

Edits the dimension text by In-place Text Editor. Users can enter special characters and symbols by control code or Unicode character strings.
If alternate units are not turned on in the dimension style, users can enter square brackets ([]) to display them.
The current dimension style determines the appearance of the generated measurements.

Text

Customizes the dimension text at the Command prompt.

The generated dimension measurement is displayed in angle brackets (\<>). If alternate units are not turned on in the dimension style, users can enter square brackets ([]) to display them.
User can reset the dimension text properties in Text tab of New, Modify, and Override in Dimension Style Manager dialog box.

Angle

Changes the angle of the dimension text.

Partial

Reduces the length of the arc length dimension.

Leader

Adds a leader object. Only if the arc or arc segment is greater than 90 degrees, this option displays. The leader is drawn radially, pointing towards the center of the arc being dimensioned.

No leader

Cancels the Leader option before creating the leader. To remove a leader, delete the arc length dimension and recreate a new arc dimension without the leader option.
