Function Description:
This command is used to copy one or more objects to another layer.
Command Access:

Menu: Format > Layer Tools > Copy Object to New Layer
Ribbon: Home > Layer > Copy Objects to New Layer
Toolbar: Layers II > Copy Object to New Layer

Command Prompts:
Select an object to copy:
Select object on destination layer or [Name] \<Name>:
Select object on destination layer
Specifies the destination layer to place the selected object.
- Specify base point: Specify base point of the selected object.
- Displacement: Input coordinates to specify relative distance and direction.
Name
Inputs the destination layer name and selects it in the Copy to layer dialog box.
