Function Description:
This command is used to specify a different source application for an embedded OLE object and control whether the OLE object is represented by an icon. You must select an OLE object before entering the OLECONVERT command.
Dialog Box Options
Current Type
Displays the type of object you are converting or activating.
Object Type
Displays a list of available object types. If you select GstarCAD Entities, text is converted to a multiple text (mtext) object, a spreadsheet is converted to a table object, and a bitmap file is converted to an image object.
Convert To
Converts the embedded object to the type specified under Object Type.
Activate As
Opens the embedded object as the type selected under Object Type but returns the object to its current type after editing.
Display As Icon
Displays the source application's icon in the drawing. Double-clicking the icon displays the linked or embedded information.
Result
Describes the result of the selected options.
